No implementation currently supports this feature. When one does, the ODF TC would be pleased to work with that project or vendor to specify the ODF encoding of this.

Question: Does any known implementation plan on supporting this feature?

A meta-question is how do we survey projects that may be unknown to us?

Should we have some public call asking if feature X is supported?

Assuming we answer that question - What say the TC on open/close this issue with a note to the submitter?

If the submitter had included an explanation how to (mathematically) calculate the parameters for the two sigmoid functions, then I would see no problem with including it. We surely should have that description also or the existing regression types. (And we could get some of them by the appropriate copying from Part 2.

Perhaps we should ask the submitter for the mathematical specification how to calculate these trend lines.
