Created: 28/May/09 04:23 PM   Updated: 10/Nov/10 07:19 PM
Component/s: None
Affects Version/s: ODF 1.0, ODF 1.0 (second edition)
Fix Version/s: ODF 1.0 Errata CD 5

Proposal:
The <text:alphabetical-index-auto-mark-file> element specifies an auto mark file. An auto mark file is a file that defines a list of terms that may be used by implementations to automatically insert alphabetical index marks (see 7.7.1, 7.1.9).

The format of an index mark file is implementation defined.
Resolution:
7.8.2 Auto Mark File
Insert new a paragraph following the paragraph that ends with:
"The declaration element in an Xlink, which points to the resource containing the list of terms."
that reads:
"The format of an index mark file is implementation dependent."

This is the current draft text of ODF 1.2. In some future version we may define a format for auto mark files.

Errata 02 - ODF 1.2 Reconciliation. The text in ODF 1.2 (implementation-defined) is consistent with Errata 02 (implementation-dependent).
