Clarify base type behavior in folder filing restrictions

Created: 02/Jun/09 07:05 PM   Updated: 11/Jan/10 07:34 PM
Component/s: Domain Model
Affects Version/s: Draft 0.61
Fix Version/s: Draft 0.62

Proposal: state rep specific in specification

 Description  « Hide
From 0.61c, lines 227-237. This is also not yet resolved in 0.62.

The spec should clarify what happens in regards to ancestor/descendant types (i.e. folder restricted to Folder types, can I put a subType of Folder in there?)

It seems reasonable to allow this, but is this repository specific?

By definition of subtyping in general, this should be allowed IMHO.

This should be repository specific. In general concept, subtypes should be assumed to be allowed in folders that are constrained to their parent type.
